Nile Cruise Aswan to Luxor – 2 Nights, 3 Days
Experience an unforgettable journey on a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor over two nights and three days. This adventure combines ancient temples, scenic river views, and cultural discoveries.
Moreover, you will visit Abu Simbel, Edfu Temple, and Kom Ombo Temple, as well as the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple.
Day One – Abu Simbel & Cruise Check-In
Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from your hotel or train station in an air-conditioned car. Then, a professional tour guide will accompany you to Abu Simbel Temple in a small group.
Upon arrival, your guide will explain the temple’s history and significance. Afterwards, transfer to the cruise for lunch while enjoying the scenic Nile views.
Later, the cruise sails toward Kom Ombo, where you will explore Kom Ombo Temple with your guide. Finally, return to the cruise to relax onboard as the ship continues its journey.
Day Two – Edfu Temple Exploration
On the second day, the cruise arrives at Edfu Temple between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. At this point, a guide will meet you in the cruise lobby, and you will explore the temple by horse carriage.
Afterward, return to the cruise for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, the guide will lead you on a visit to Kom Ombo Temple, known for its double design and historical importance. Meanwhile, enjoy the peaceful Nile scenery as the cruise sails south.
Day Three – Luxor West and East Banks, Cruise Check-Out
After breakfast, check out from the cruise and prepare your bags in the lobby. Next, our driver and guide will pick you up to begin the final day of your tour.
West Bank Exploration
Start with the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried. Visitors can enter three decorated tombs. Then, explore the Temple of Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of Egypt’s most famous female rulers. Afterwards, see the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues that have stood for thousands of years.
East Bank Exploration
Next, visit Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in Egypt. Then, move to Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II, dedicated to Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu.
Finally, stop at local workshops such as the Papyrus Factory, Alabaster Factory, and Perfume Shops to see traditional Egyptian handicrafts. Afterwards, our driver will transfer you to your hotel in Luxor.
